I’m working on patch here https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/103526/ if you are interested.

How to test it? Using the same intruction as previus post or what else? I’m very interested in testing it. I’ve had some problem of stability (kernel panic, switch not done) and i would like to test your last version avaible! Thank you, and keep up the good job!
Grazie davvero per il tuo lavoro

@belze
The unused card is *always* switched off when switchable graphics in powerdevil is enabled.

Awesome ![]()
So I’ll just wait for the code in the official repo

First of all, thank you for the good job! Awsome!
Will you add an option to switch off the unused card?
I think it will be nice to switch with a right click, as we do with energy profiles. Is it possible?
Again, thank you for the good job!

I’m using vgaswitcheroo. It works on everything supported by vgaswitcheroo

Ciao, avevo creato un po’ di tempo fa degli script rc per cambiare le schede grafiche che si basavano su acpi_call. Tu che metodo usi? C’è bisogno di qualche pre-impostazione? Su che hardware l’hai provato?
Grazie
Fabio

As a Chakra Linux user, I’m very very interested in you becoming a Chakra dev… Thanks and congratulations!

Next step is integrate it in powerdevil. I’ve already received the “OK” for this feature from the main powerdevil dev. Will use vgaswitcheroo(kernel oss method), but may add others in the future.

I’m very very interested in Switchy. Is this linked to any switchable graphics method? Will it work using some ACPI and/or swotcheroo tech? I’m just very curious, and i use such a hardware and KDE. I’m looking forward to read your next post! Keep up the good job!
